Got to say i'm really looking forward to this. Yes i would have preferred a home draw.

But them lot will be far more apprehensive than we will be. They should win, but they should've last time...

And how can you forget that Preston are a big club. Tom Finney retired in 1960 and they last played in the top flight in 1961    Massive

Great game in the cup the night we beat them with ease. The Preston players really didn't enjoy that.

With a bit of luck I should be there, hopefully with USA Shrimp, Jr. in tow

Just got dates and stuff for summer hols so we should be in Blighty for 2-3 weeks in mid to late August. Have to squeeze in as many games as possible, whilst also visiting all the relatives who we haven't seen in 18 months or so. They should all come to see the Shrimps too!

PNE are a better team than last time, so I expect there to be more PNE fans. Should be an amazing atmosphere! 8-)

Last time they were only expecting around 300-500 Morecambe fans, we ended up taking over 2000. I hope they realise this and give us around the same amount of tickets.

As it's not all ticket doesn't really matter other than less hassle for us on the night....unless of course PNE insist on us getting tickets prior to the game. I seem to recall having to que at some ticket point for us to get in.

So this time we are sharing the Bill Shankly stand with the Preston fans, that should add to the atmosphere. Only twelve pounds as well, that's assuming its the same price for us as it is for the home support.

What I'm saying is, they only gave us a certain amount of seats, then they realised they'd make a mistake and had to make room for more fans.

I can't wait, and It's going to be one hell of an atmosphere :D

As I recall last year, there were lots queueing and missed the kick off. I think the message is that if you're planning to go, and can do it, buy a ticket in advance and it will help with guaging demand I should think.
