Picking up from points on a variety of threads:

Marshalling

The route will go across Lancaster Road, along Burlington Road, down Broadway, across Marine Road and on to the seaward side of the Promenade. Stewards will be in place at minor intersections such as the five roads which turn into the route. At the major junctions crossing Lancaster Road and Marine Road there will be a police presence to assist in crossing.

Water station

Thanks to the efforts of Peter Cross and, I believe The Midland Hotel, there will be a full water station with free drinks at the mid-point / turnround point of the route.

Really am looking forward to this Sunday morning stroll along the most scenic promenade in the UK if not Europe.

Needless to say I'm walking the whole way.

Don't be shy...join in! It's gonna be a bag of fun.
