Looking at his profile, which shows he's "recently" signed a deal with Preston till 2012, i think I have to agree with the comments from "Destruction" and "Ska Face" on the Football Forum

Even if a fee of £100k had been agreed between us and Preston - Fairly hard to believe in itself.

It was only four years ago he was scoring in the Champions League and scoring last minute winners against Arsenal. Still in his mid-twenties, you can't exactly imagine him jumping at the opportunity of joining us!

You know that bucket collection for Beckford maybe they have had one without us realising  but decided to spend it on someone else

I've got it! It was the Fun run Buckets on Sunday! Mine had at least £4.20p in it when I got back to Christie

Just spoke to a Burnley fan who sells me stuff. He queued for 11 hours to get his season ticket but is waiting for the weather forecast nearer the time before he ventures into the carwash

i think we would need to fill one of these for Mellor :?

Maybe we got more than enough for Beckford but not enough for Owen so we have gone for someone in the middle.

Is Karl Hawley still at Deepdale ?

He might be a more realistic target from PNE.

Yes but was out onloan to Colchester last season.

May be available on loan?

I thought that the Shrews would have been interested seeing that their manager tool Hawley to PNE from Carlisle where he had him as a striker to be feared.

You know what I mean.
I wouldn't class 26 as young for a footballer.
