Sammy to lose out again? NOW CONFIRMED

Sammy to lose out again? NOW CONFIRMED

Postby Christies Child » Fri Aug 22, 2008 12:24 pm

Rumours coming from the Fylde suggest that Simon Wiles is about to sign for Dunfermline the same club that close season target Andy Kirk signed for on the eve of the Scottish season.

It's believed that Simon who has been training with the squad since day 1 of pre-season couldn't afford to wait for the window of opportunity to open at MFC and will sign for the Scottish club in the very near future.

This must be a further blow to Sammy as he makes strident attempts to bolster the present squad and is proof of how a clubs annual turnover is affecting its ability to deal in the transfer market.

This deal is yet to be confirmed but the information eminating from the Fylde suggests that it's just a matter of time.

Liked the look of him in pre-season. Good touch and a decent cross on him. My only concern is do we really need another right sided midfielder? much prefer to see Wainwright out there consistently and get in somebody on the left or give a present player a run of games to get used to that position.

Very strange :?: Did Wiles turn down the new contract at Blackpool and if so, he's a brave man in todays football climate? Or is he on a new contract with Blackpool...even stranger?

It must be one of the most commonly mispelt words in the english dictionary. It's difficult to tell whether it's tongue in cheek on football forums or just ignorant spelling. :)

Glad someone else has brought it up, mind you.

Why only quote part of my post Keith?
To purposely mis-lead?

A common Internet term used by the uneducated or ignorant to describe a misspelt word.

OK, so what would Tom prefer to be "uneducated or ignorant"?

Sammy said on the Radio he has 2 forward players lined up who want to come to Morecambe.

I assumed one of them must have been Wiles but Sammy would know he had gone to Dunfermline so obviously not him.

Having seen Andy Morrell yesterday I am glad we didnt try for him.
