A Bury fan on another forum says that "Morecambe are after Andy Bishop again".

If his injury problems are over then yes please.

On the 'if Barry does leave' scenario - David Hasselhoff forbid - Then I've already mentioned Tim Deasy of Barrow.

However Rob Burch, keeper at Lincoln City, has rejected a new contract. He's on a £1,000 a week according to http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/ ... 158437.htm. Rumours of Notts County post Schmeichel but who knows.

Aye, but where?

From the Bournemouth Echo: "Non-league pair Harry Arter from Woking and Tooting & Mitcham’s Mitchell Nelson are reported to be two of Cherries’ possible signings, while the Daily Echo understands both Stephen Purches and Marc Pugh could be on Howe’s wanted list."

Unless you mean Scott Cuthbert, but I doubt Swindon would sell him! And I think Andy Dibble's retired as a player!

;)

Does anyone know if Ryan Heaney is available? Surely adding the likes of Heaney to the squad we'd walk this tinpot league ;)

I was just having a quick check at the transfers so far to see if I'd missed any big deals.

It struck me firstly that all the players who have been bought were for 'undisclosed' fees, and secondly the number of players signing on free transfers. Just goes to show that the recession seems to have hit most levels of football.

I think the next few seasons are going to be about managers getting the most out of free transfers (like John Still has done for Daggers).

Blackpool have released a number of reasonably good players including: Striker Daniel Nardiello, Hameur Bouazza (destined for the World Cup), prolific reserve striker who many regarded as one for the future Danny Mitchley and Al Bangura a tough tackling no nonsence midfielder.

Of that lot Mitchley might be worth a look at pre season :?: :?: :?:
