I think one of the recent photos showed some wheels at the foot of the pylons where they can be hinged and lowered for maintenance etc.

Yep - they are on a pulley system too so they can be lowered and (insert name of short person here) can put the flags on.

Correct Glen. L2 football is established and we have to recognise the importance of the new venue as a 7 day per week venue, not a match day venue. The new revenue directly supports the football and will be as much of an influence to signing new players as match day revenue.

I would also expect the Globe to attract non-football people to the functions they put on and with some good PR, turn them into supporters. As much as I would expect supporters to consider the Globe for their do's.

I think Dan was trying to say that football is ultimately our main business. We should have been concentrating on that side of things more!

I don't think it's about 'daring' to stick my neck out. Alot of things have been said about this whole saga and my contribution would mirror alot of the ones already been made, so i don't feel i need to contribute. But if your 'daring' me then i may have too

I come back from a weeks holiday to find that the ground isnt ready, what an absolute disgrace !! what did the people on here say, of course it will be ready because Globe are putting there name too it etc etc. I cant be arsed to read all the excuses that the rose tinted glasses brigade have made.
Where are the new signings that people said would arriving because after the 1st of july the contracts expire ??? where are the signings that were meant to arrive because of our supposidly new stadium ???
