O/T Roofers

O/T Roofers

Postby morecambe mick » Sun Sep 07, 2008 3:57 pm

Through the power of Shrimpsvoices, do any of you guys work on roofs?

I need two chimney pots swapping over/replacing so I can use my open fire in my lounge, it currently has a gas pot on top.

Would any of you guys have any recommendations?

I'm in Heysham by the way.

I'm sorry CC that I have posted this question before you. I fully understand that you are the O/T King poster

I'd appreciate contact detail for a roofer as well. The guy I asked, August 07, hasn't been round yet and the key I hid for the back gate for him has long since rusted and been chucked away.

Also need some outside plastering and pebble dashing doing to cover up breeze block the previous owner had done. Not much work but I'm crap at anything like that.

seriously though...i got seven roofers out....all gave their opinion what was wrong....ranging from guttering to facia boards......evry one of them wrong
a&j came out spotted it straight away.....cracked lead flashing
did a temporary fix (didnt charge a penny for this) then said they will send the quote on for replacing the lead...

The charge for the temporary fix will be hidden away in your final bill, but will probably still be worth it.
