A friend of mine was doing a plumbing job at a local hotel today, a young man of afro carribean / mixed race looking origin was booking in and said he was here on trial for mfc, i do not know who the player is, but the person with the info is a nice honest bloke so it will be straight!!

I could have sworn I saw Freez going round the same bend as myself...but in the opposite direction.

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Afro Carribean? Is he an albino like that guy off Big Brother?

This kid looks like just what we need though. Hope he can come and do a job for us. Bit harsh on Wayne though if he loses his place :(

Next time I pass Morecambe Fried Chicken, I'll have a look for this new triallist. At the end of the day, if his kebab making isn't up to scratch, he'll be out!

Agree about WC, but Sammy obviously feels we need a bit of pace on the left.

No such thing as sentiment in football...likewise in business!

Having said that WC is probably the most improved player commitment wise to date. His work ethic is tremendous.

As I saw it, Wayne played from the right on Saturday. What makes you think the left winger won't be taking Wainwright's place?

Because Wainwright is tens times the player Curtis is? According to Shrimper, he only played on the right as Roche's kicks tend to get out left and his head needed protecting. The team is desperately devoid of pace and the new lad should provide that. If you don't have a lot of pace the, as a winger, you need plenty of skill. Wainwright lacks a little pace, but has the skill. Curtis has neither. Let's not forget if we'd been able to get a winger in before the season started, Curtis probably wouldn't have been closer than the bench. Circumstances have dictated otherwise, but we still need someone more naturally suited to that position.

Ok. Original post: A friend of mine was doing a plumbing job at a local hotel today, a young man of afro carribean / mixed race looking origin was booking in and said he was here on trial for mfc, i do not know who the player is, but the person with the info is a nice honest bloke so it will be straight!!

Read the above carefully.

Then my post:

Next time I pass Morecambe Fried Chicken, I'll have a look for this new triallist. At the end of the day, if his kebab making isn't up to scratch, he'll be out!!

Any clearer?

No not really, I read the above very carefully and there is no mention of fried chicken or kebab making anywhere in the original post. I loved the plumbing jokes though, not too cryptic, just quick and inventive humour :D
