Morecambe v Carlisle Central League Action Tonight

Morecambe fans can see new loan signing Dan Smith in action for the Reserves tonight evening.

Smith, who joined the Shrimps today on an initial one month's loan deal from Plymouth Argyle, is set to feature for Jeff Udall's second string as they come up against Carlisle Utd at Christie Park tonight

Smith trained with his new team mates today while the paperwork went through on his deal and Shrimps' boss Sammy McIlroy says he will get a chance to look at him on Wednesday night.

Said Sammy: "He's certainly a fit lad with good, quick feet and he did well in training. It's a good chance to see him close up on Wednesday night and it will also give the fans a chance to see him in action as well.''

The Shrimps' side will also include Craig Stanley as he makes his way back to fitness after his recent injury, and Fraser McLachlan. Michael Twiss is also expected to play.

The game kicks off at Christie Park at 7pm.

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Just come back to me, it was The Cavendish Club in Blackburn. never forget the time I took 'er in doors to see some singer who literally pissed his pants on stage. Everybody was in stitches at him...poor sod....and he was a Yank which made it even more funny!

It would be hard on Wayne if the new lad was to secure the left position.

But sometimes the terms of a loan demand that the player plays!

Bench and come on with 15 to go?
